Always Empty

Oh crap, this is so poorly designed. 8|

But I really love the painting of her bust. I wasn't going to add lines but it just looked like so much pooh without them.

Okay, I kinda suck this sat here two days with out a desc.

So Tunka was born northeast of Lake Superior in Ontario, Canada; I think I've decided on Ottawa for her tribe. Her father was a trader and not exactly an awesome guy. Saw her mother and decided to tap that and that's pretty much how she came about. Her life was lived in relative isolation from the modern world, save for passing traders, due to the heavy forests in which her tribe lived.

Shapeshifting was a talent she possessed more or less from birth, but it was kept pretty secret from the rest of her people since it only happened at night. At this time her mind was still intact and she could patrol the woodlands as a wolf without fear of harming anyone.

One year there was a very, very bad winter and a large number of people died. Tunka herself became so desperate that during a blizzard when she was sure she would perish she ate the only food available; human. When her crime was discovered so was sent out into the forest, banished from her tribe. And there too, she would have died if she hadn't transformed into a wolf and found a place to hide from the winter's wrath.

She didn't discover her curse until later. She had found her way to a small town and tried to make a life there, but she noticed her weight dropping and her hunger growing. Slowly she wasted to near nothing and there wasn't a food or drink in existence that could help; doctors had no idea what was wrong either and slowly her mind began to be chipped away by this constant horrible feeling of emptiness. Eventually there was an attempt to commit her to a sanitarium but those that had gone to collect her turned up dead, apparently killed by a wolf and partially eaten.

After that Tunka disappeared into the wilderness, each day her mild growing more and more fractured and jumbled. And that has been her life ever since. She's tried to kill herself a couple of times- successfully I might add- but has realized that that even this will not end her suffering.

She has a lover/husband/dude, but I need to know more about him before I can babble like a moron about them together. I lav him though, so far he sounds badass- SO GET MOVIN' MECS. <33
